FTCFA's first ever event was a screening of the movie "The Ataxian" starring Kyle Bryant. The event was hosted by Michael Gehr and attended by over 260 people. Kyle Bryant, founder of the program rideATAXIA, attended the screening and even answered audience questions afterwards! In the afternoon before the movie, tours were given by Dr. Sanjay Bidichandani and his lab team. $32,122 was raised for the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance.
